Mantis UK sells Mantis products in the United Kingdom and Eire.
All orders are accepted on the basis of payment with order. Once the order has been accepted and processed by us, a receipted invoice will be sent to you in the post. This is both your receipt and also confirmation of despatch of the goods. If your order is not received by you within seven days of receipt of the invoice, please contact us to advise the non-delivery during our normal working hours.
All our prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling and include VAT at the rate ruling at the time, currently 20% (effective the 4st of January 2011). All products offered for sale are brand new, unless clearly stated otherwise. Prices for export customers outside the UK are available on request. Please contact our office for details.
We accept payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or Debit Card (Switch, Delta). We do not currently accept Diners Club or American Express Cards. Card payments will be processed prior to orders being despatched and we will do our best to ensure payment is not taken in advance where we are clearly aware that an order cannot be completed ( No available stock) for an extended period.
An email acknowledgement will automatically be sent to you, confirming the details of your order. This will be sent to the email address entered as part of the order entry.
Postage and Packing to UK mainland addresses are indicated below. You will only be charged one postage and packing rate.

For orders placed for delivery outside the UK Mainland, please place the order and note the delivery address. If the cost of the Postage and Packing is in excess of our standard offer, we will contact you to obtain your authority to charge the cost of the additional postage costs prior to processing your order.
2f. Right to Change Your Mind
You have the right to cancel this contract within a 14 day “cancellation period” without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day that the goods are delivered (or the last delivery of goods if your goods are split into several deliveries over different days). To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel by writing to Mantis UK – 4th floor Lincoln House 300 High Holborn London WC1V 7JH, by telephone at 0161 474 1525 or Email at email@example.com. To meet the cancellation deadline, you must ensure that you send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired (delay between the day you receive the order and the date on the stamp must not go beyond 14 days). We also offer a free trial on sales of Mantis products which is more generous than your right to change your mind, see clause 4 below for details.
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good. A letter sent by post or email. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than –
- (a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
- (b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
- (c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature , characteristics and functioning of the goods.
It is our aim to deliver all items ordered as soon as possible once the order has been processed. Outside our main season we would try to deliver your order within 5 working days of receipt of order. In our busier periods we would advise that you allow 10 days (excluding Public Holidays) from date of order before contacting us for an update. Our busier periods are from February to May.
Your Credit or Debit card will be charged with the value of your order before your order is despatched. Where items are out of stock, your card will not be charged until 3 working days before the “out of stock” items return back into stock.
We will endeavour to maintain all product details on the site up to date and accurate, but the company does reserve the right to change the specification of the products advertised.
4. Trial Period / Money Back Guarantee
We offer a generous, free trial on sales of Mantis products purchased directly from Mantis. You will therefore have plenty of time to decide if your purchase is right for you. If you are not completely satisfied, return the Mantis product that has been purchased from us, in the original packaging for a full refund of your purchase price. All we ask is that the machine is returned within the specified trial period from the date of initial receipt and that you pay the return postage. We would recommend that you use an insured service to return the machine to us. Trial periods for all applicable products are clearly posted on the appropriate product pages.
Mantis Tiller Warranty
The Mantis Tiller and its attachments are built to last. The patented steel tines are guaranteed for LIFE against breakage. Should a tine break in normal use, just return it to us and we’ll send you a replacement.
All other parts of the Mantis tiller are guaranteed for five years from the original date of purchase. Should a part fail due to a material or manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace it free of charge.
Warranty on Other Mantis Products
All other products manufactured by Mantis are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for two years from date of purchase subject to the specific limited warranty terms and conditions contained in the operator manual.
The batteries and chargers have a 1-year warranty.

All product repairs are carried out within the company, with all costs being advised to the customer before any work or expense is incurred.
Our database of enquirers and customers is constantly being updated, If your details change please notify us and we will amend your record accordingly.
We take great care of our computer records and take all reasonable steps to ensure its security within our organisation. All order details given are processed by our secure web server. We only retain on our system, those details about you that are relevant to our business needs.
The information that is supplied by you by signing up for the email newsletter, may be used in the future to send you information about products and services that we think may be of interest to you. If you notify us through the customer details section of your order form, then your details will not be passed to third party companies, you will therefore then only receive future mailings from this company
