FastStart now available on 2-Cycle Tiller

For an additional $30 you can upgrade to the FastStart 2-Cycle Tiller. Starts the engine with 75% less effort. Here's how it works: FastStart features a spring-loaded, ratchet-recoil to adjust the piston and compress air while delivering fuel directly to the ignition point. One smooth, easy complete pull is usually all you'll need for faster, easier starts with much less effort. Choose the FastStart option when you order your tiller.

SV-4 Engine

The older SV-4 engine has a red air filter cover (see picture yellow mark).
The air filter can be found on the right site of the Mantis tiller. The air filter cover is mounted with a butterfly nut which can be identified on the right site.
Behind the air filter cover you will find the air filter.
The SV-4 engine was sold before March 2003. If your machine was bought later you own a SV-6 engine.

SV-6 Engine

The newer SV-6 engine has a black air filter cover (see picture yellow mark).
The air filter can be found on the right site of the Mantis tiller. The air filter cover is mounted with a black knurled screw which can be identified on the right site.
Behind the air filter cover you will find the air filter.
The SV-6 engine was sold from March 2003. If your machine was bought earlier you own a SV-4 engine.
